Thoughtforms is a publication designed and produced for Micah Walter Studio. For this first issue, established museum and technology professionals wrote essays on how the field of technology might impact, for better or for worse, the welfare of museums. Inspired by the original Thoughtforms book, the imagery is a curated set of abstract black and white photographs that suggest that each of these thoughts, too, have a form. Each essay was assigned a single image, which was then used as a visual index on the final spread. The cover contains three of Alfred Stieglitz cloud-form images from his series, Equivalents. All of the images were obtained through various museum open access collections. Read more about the design process here.
